Overview
iVeia’s Velocity-IDE is an Eclipse plugin that integrates software and FPGA application development and debugging functionality into a single graphical development environment.
Based on the widely used Eclipse (http://eclipse.org) development environment, the Velocity-IDE provides an all-inclusive environment for creating, building, and debugging projects as well as configuring, controlling, and deploying applications to target devices. The Velocity-IDE extends the Eclipse framework to automate complex tasks. Remote, source-level application debugging is available by the click of a button. Multiple target management features within the Velocity-IDE allow developers to edit target parameters, create, modify, and delete files on the target filesystem, execute applications remotely, and reboot the target. Additionally, the Velocity-IDE supports rebuilding OS kernels, kernel modules, and file systems, allowing developers to fully customize the execution environment for target applications.
